Nice aggregation of excellent reporting going on about this Matt. I especially appreciate when you delineate fact from supposition - something we desperately need online these days. This year, because I DO value my time and other farmers' expertise, I'm buying most of our veggies from Sundog Farm. I hope others will support local farmers who are now struggling with the sudden withdrawal of $11 million in local food funds from Iowa.

Farmers from around the country met with members of congress in DC to advocate to restore the investments being cut by the Trump administration in American farmers, ranchers, and rural communities.
I know others who feel this way. I even know someone from church who has already moved. I respect how different people act in different ways in these troubling times.

As someone who works with HUD, FHWA, USDA....I think we have only seen the beginning of the disruption.
Yep. This is the beginning, not the end. While Republicans are in control of this beginning, we need to make sure we are in control of how this ends!
