The SUPERMAJORITY PLAN TO SAVE THE COUNTRY FROM TRUMP

It will take 292 house and 67 senate votes to obtain a supermajority vote. A supermajority vote will override Trump’s veto of a bill. THIS WILL BE KEY TO ACCOMPLISHING ANYTHING. The house and senate can pass a law to release the classified Epstein files implicating Trump and his billionaire pedophile network. They can pass a law to investigate the coverup of those files within the Trump administration.

EVERYONE IS GOING TO HAVE TO VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS IN THE NOVEMBER 6th MIDTERM ELECTIONS TO MAKE THIS WORK

Make sure you share this with everyone you know without social media. People without social media are unaware how corrupt and detrimental Trump’s administration really is for our country. The media outlets do not post anything negative about Trump. Some people don’t even know what the midterm elections are or how important they are.

WE HAVE TO STOP TRUMP AND HIS ADMINISTRATION FROM DESTROYING THE COUNTRY.

TRUMP, HIS ADMINISTRATION, HIS BILLIONAIRE PEDOPHILE NETWORK , AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY ARE MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE WORKING CLASS TO SURVIVE

Matt, you make several excellent points. I hope your words will be an inspiration to a candidate with the requisite skill set and background. Thank you!

Thanks for the comment Cheryl. You've got a lot of credibility in this area!

As a city dweller I do care about Iowa ag policy and practices. My frequent trips on Iowa's highways and off ways have me counting CAFOs. Now that crops are out my views and counts have expanded. Anger is my usual accompaniment to my counts as I understand the impact on water, soil and air quality. Water quantity and quality must be serious considerations for every vote cast in 2026.

Chris Jones needs an army of brilliant lawyers and competent constituents who will say what we all should know. Money and power is not more important than clean air, water, soil or the future of our planet. Please tell me what is too radical about farming the way we did just a few decades ago.

Agreed. Nothing stays the same, nor should we ignore the advances in technology and innovation. We must be cognizant that the solutions sought require every lesson learned from the past, present and research conducted by scientists worldwide. The very ones who have banned the use and practices we employ today, in over 30 countries.

Our future is not about going back. Yes, we have thousands of years of agricultural knowledge to draw on. But we're not going to farm simply like we used to no more than we're going to make music simply like we used to. It's also not great politics to lean into the frame of telling any profession to go backwards. But we definitely need to farm differently and we can do so by drawing on the past, using the present, and shaping a new future.

I’m going to memorize and internalize that last line.

And if you put it to music, I don't even need credit. Go!

The regenerative farming methods of the past worked. The extractive methods in Voge today are what is destroying our soil and poisoning our water today. Rewrite the equation substituting labor for borrowing money to make a Crop and you will find animal confinement operations don’t work anymore (And they don’t work without attendant problems now).

Controlling my personal pessimism about voters in rural Iowa has become a major struggle. The gentleman farmer from New Hartford, who has held public office since 1958 when I was five years old, has become a caricature for a family farm which no longer exists.

It’s way past time to state the obvious. We have poisoned Eden. The overwhelming majority of rural residents have been snake oiled and carpetbagged by the imperialist forces of the agrochemical industry and outside investment bankers. Until and unless they can overcome their fear and feckless pride, progress is a pipe dream.

We must have elected leaders who will fearlessly fight to protect and defend our values and very existence. This requires holding those responsible to account for their crimes against all of us. We must demand justice to indict, prosecute, convict and punish them without impunity. Jail time, seizure of assets, billions of dollars in damages with iron clad laws preventing them from ever perpetrating these offenses ever again.

Nothing short of a crusade , enlisting other states and even countries will be necessary. They’re killing children and the bees that pollinate our food. We’re in a fight for humanity, not just Secretary of Agriculture! Please people, act like you live here!!

Thanks for always bringing the passion.

After what the IDP did to @DeniseO'Brien it'll be pretty hard to find a rural progressive to run for that office, so we'll end up with Republican Lite again - like Rob Sand seems to be aiming for. I agree that it would be ideal to have an independent family-scale farmer, because when the likes of Grassley and Naig call themselves "family farmers" the words hardly mean anything anymore. AND, farmers make up only 3 percent of the population right?

No one has moved the needle in the right direction for our landscape or our independent farmers in a very long time. Why not try a new approach with someone who at least is fearless in his advocacy who will inspire urban folks and environmentalists to vote for him? It's the Department of Ag AND Land Stewardship after all and works for all of us, not just farmers. As for a 15-point plan, they can work against a candidate, but they can also serve as a roadmap of values. Just my 2 cents.

Agree 💯

Thanks Suzan. I always appreciate your comments.

You failed to mention lack of a Farm Bill by GOP leadership, even tho Ag Sec is not directly involved in voting on DC policy.

If I mentioned everything, no one would read it for length. You are right, there is a lot more. I focused on water quality because I do believe it's the top issue, other things flow from it, and it is a winning issue. But yes, there is a lot more!
